Head-On Collision Between Bus And Truck In Odisha’s Koraput Leaves Several Injured

Koraput: At least 26 passengers were injured in a severe accident which occurred on Wednesday morning in Odisha’s Koraput district when a private bus collided head-on with a timber-laden truck on National Highway-326.

The mishap took place along the Laxmipur-Dumuripadar road, said sources.

The bus was traveling from Rayagada to Jeypore when it crashed into the truck, which was coming from the opposite direction.

While the exact cause of the accident remains unclear, passengers have attributed the collision to high speed of both vehicles.

On being informed, fire personnel and local police rushed to the spot and rescued the injured.
