Bhubaneswar: Odisha may continue to experience light to moderate rain till March 3, with one dry day in-between, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre informed on Monday.
It has also issued yellow warning of thunderstorm with lightning for one or two places in Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Balasore district on Tuesday.
According to the weather agency, heavy to very heavy rain lashed Ganjam district during the last 24 hours with Sankheimundi and Polasara recoding 12 cm and 7 cm rainfall respectively. Light to moderate rain also occurred at few more places in South Odisha and at one or two places in remaining parts of the state.

FEB 26: Light to moderate rain/thundershower may occur at one or two places in Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Nuapada, Balangir, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, and Angul districts.
FEB 27: Light to moderate rain/thundershower is likely at one or two places in North Odisha, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, and Ganjam.
FEB 28: Dry weather may prevail
FEB 29: Light rain/thundershower may occur at one or two places in Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Balangir, and Kandhamal.
MARCH 1: Light rain/thundershower is also likely at one or two places in Bargarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Jharsuguda.
MARCH 2: Light rain/thundershower is likely at one or two places in Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Sambalpur, Deogarh, and Jajpur.
MARCH 3: Light rain/thundershower may occur at one or two places in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, and Kendrapada.
The MeT office further said that there will be no large change in the night temperature for another 3-4 days. With partly cloudy sky and a few spells of rain, the day temperature in the state capital Bhubaneswar is likely to hover around 30 degree Celsius for 2 days and rise slightly thereafter.
