Bhubaneswar: After a dip in the intensity, several places in Odisha are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours.
According to regional centre of India Meteorological Department, a low pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal in the bordering areas of West Bengal in the next 24 hours. Under its influence intense rainfall is likely in Jajpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Sundargarh, Kendrapara, Nayagarh, Angul, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Malkangiri, Koraput and Rayagada districts, it said.
