Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet on Monday approved a proposal of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department to float tender for the construction of sports infrastructure and facilities at the Kalinga Stadium and construction of an international hockey stadium at Rourkela for the ensuing Hockey World Cup.
The other decisions taken by the Cabinet are as follows:
— Rules to regulate method of recruitment and service conditions of persons appointed in the Odisha nursing college education service
— Command area development and water management activities in irrigated commands
— Utilization of groundwater resources through deep bore wells with solar pump system in remote areas of the state under Biju Krishak Vikash Yojana Deep Borewell Secha Yojana
— Amendment of Negative list for addition of manufacturing/refilling of medical oxygen/container
— Amendment of Odisha Transport traffic and enforcement rules, 2013
— Change of the nomenclature of ‘Forest and Environment department’ as ‘Forest Environment and Climate Change Department’
— Amendment of Odisha Ex-servicemen ( recruitment to State civil services and Posts) Rules
— Annual report on activities of Odisha Public Service Commission for the year 2017-18
—Framing of rules for accommodation and other services in Bhawans owned and maintained by the Home Department outside the state.
