Bhubaneswar: After 116 students belonging to Rourkela, 50 of Balangir stranded in Kota, Rajasthan, amid the nationwide lockdown boarded two buses for Odisha on Friday afternoon.
Those from Rourkela had left the coaching hub at around 10.15 am this morning in four buses.
On reaching Odisha, they will undergo a mandatory quarantine of 14 days at the Temporary Medical Camps set up for the returnees.
The students from Rourkela had made an appeal to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik through a video message earlier to ensure their safe return to the state.
