Sonepur: A helper at an Anganwadi Kendra in Jatiapalli, Sonepur district, allegedly poured hot water on a three-year-old girl.
Sources said that Pritimayi Mahakuna was picked up from her home for the Anganwadi centre by the helper. Hours later, her parents spotted scald injuries on her body and she was weeping in pain. She was rushed to the Sonepur District Headquarters Hospital in a critical condition. Her mother alleged that the helper had wittingly poured hot water on her daughter.
