Rourkela: Timely detection of a glitch in Howrah-Ahmedabad Superfast Express reportedly averted a major mishap on Wednesday.
According to sources, the glitch was detected near wheels of S-4 compartment after the train reached the Rourkela railway station at 6.30 am.
Mechanics from Rourkela and Bandhamunda were pressed into service to fix the problem. It took them over 2 hours, following which the train resumed its onward journey around 8.50 am, the sources added.
