In a massive operation, heroin and amphetamine tablets worth Rs 55 crore have been seized in West Bengal.
A special task force (STF) of Kolkata Police conducted back-to-back raids in Malda district since August 12, police officials said on Sunday. Four drug peddlers, including two from Manipur and Bihar, have been arrested.

Amphetamine tablets worth Rs 5 crore in the international market were seized from two men who were detained by STF officers on August 12. A Kolkata court remanded them in police custody for 14 days.
After interrogating them STF raided another hideout in Malda from where they seized more than 10 kg of heroin worth around Rs 50 crore. Two more men were arrested.
