The Indian Air Force (IAF) has published the recruitment notification for the selection Test for intake 01/2021 to join as Airmen in Group ‘X’ and Group ‘Y’ Trades. Eligible Unmarried Male (Indian/Nepalese) candidates can apply for Airmen Group X -Except Education Instructor Trade; and Airmen Group Y – Except Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor, Indian Air Force (Police), Indian Air Force (Security) And Musician Trades.
The application process for IAF Airmen will begin from January 2, 2020 on IAF Airmen website: www.airmenselection.cdac.in or www.careerindianairforce.cdac.in . The last date for submitting IAF Airmen applications is January 20, 2020.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Class XII or Equivalent examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.
Or
Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE (Council Of Board of School Education) member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
Selection Process
The selection of Airmen posts comprises of physical fitness test followed by the written test. The written test will be objective type and question paper shall be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English paper.

Online registration shall commence on January 02, 2020 and close on January 20, 2020.
