Bhubaneswar: An AN-32 aircraft, carrying officers and personnel of the Indian Air Force (IAF)’s Suryakiran aerobatic team, touched down at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
Eleven Hawk aircraft of the aerobatic team are also expected to arrive on Tuesday. The aerobatic team will perform over Kuakhai river in Bhubaneswar on September 16 and over Raj Bhawan in Puri on September 18.
While nine Hawks will take part in the airshow, two will be on standby. The aerial display will last 45 minutes.
Meanwhile, Twin City Police Commissioner Soumendra Priyadarshi and Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh visited the site to inspect arrangements.
