Dhenkanal: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has announced offline spot admissions to fill up vacant seats in its Postgraduate Diploma Odia Journalism course.
Eleven seats are up for grabs for the 2023-24 academic session.
A written admission test will be conducted from 11 am on August 25 at IIMC’s Dhenkanal campus.
Self-attested documents that interested candidates will have to carry are proof of date of birth, documents related to (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD) reservation, proof of address, mark sheet/certificates of Class 10th, 12th and Graduation and two passport size photographs.
Results of the admission test will be declared the same day and students who qualify will be able to deposit fees on that day itself.
Successful candidates will be given a maximum of six days’ time (on or before 31 August) to complete admission formalities by depositing fees along with necessary documents.
The fee once deposited will not be refunded in the spot round.
IIMC Dhenkanal Regional Director Prof. Mrinal Chatterjee said seats are available in different categories – 2 in EWS (General), 4 in OBC, 3 in SC and 2 in ST categories.
Students with a recognised Bachelor’s degree in any field and having good command over Odia language are eligible to apply.
