Andhra Pradesh governor Biswabhusan Harichandan will grace the foundation day as chief guest.
More than 10,000 students of schools and colleges of science and technology in Odisha are expected to participate.
According to a press release, faculty and students will showcase science and technology initiatives undertaken in various areas such as energy, materials, healthcare, engineering, physics, chemistry and biosciences at IIT Bhubaneswar at the exhibition.

The idea of holding such programmes within the premises of the institute was first floated by Prof R V Rajakumar, Director of IIT Bhubaneswar, on the eve of the 10th Foundation Day celebration to promote scientific talent and inspire students of the hinterland at an early stage, it added.
