Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Metrological Department (IMD) here has issued rainfall and thunderstorm warning for several districts of Odisha till 4:45 pm on Tuesday.
It has forecast thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph at one or two places in Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Nuapada, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore districts.
People in these districts have been advised to stay indoors and take shelter in buildings during lightning as a precautionary measure.
