Berhampur: The Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) and SUM Hospital-3 at its Sitalapalli campus in Berhampur of Odisha’s Ganjam district will provide free consultation for cancer patients from September 28.
The free medical and surgical oncology camp will be held in the hospital every Saturday and Sunday, said Deba Prasad Dash, Director of the hospital on Thursday. Experienced oncologists and surgeons will be available on the two days for consultation, he added.
Besides consultations by the experts, diagnostic services and treatment options will be offered to the patients with focus on both medical and surgical interventions. The camp will also provide access to chemotherapy sessions in the hospital’s advanced oncology care facilities.
