Bhubaneswar: Odisha Sports Minister Tusharkanti Behera and Odisha Hockey Promotion Council’s Chairman Dilip Tirkey on Friday presented cash awards to meritorious Tennis Players of the State.
The players, who have brought glory for the state at different tournaments, were awarded at a ceremony organised by Sports and Youth Services Department at Kalinga Stadium here.
Junior players Debasish Sahoo and Sohini Sanjay Mohanty received Rs 40,000 each while Aditya Bikram Acharya and Aahana received Rs 30,000 each.
The dignitaries interacted with the players and congratulated them for their upcoming events.
