Bhubaneswar: Mayfair Hotel in Odisha’s capital, where the Indian and South African cricket players, their support staff and officials accompanying them will stay, is all set to welcome the guests and ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
As many as 96 rooms in the hotel have been booked for their accommodation. The players and other guests will be welcomed with a shower of rose petals and blowing of conches.
In keeping with their varied taste, Indian, Chinese, Continental and Odia delicacies — including chena poda, kakara, kanika and rasogolla — are on the menu.
Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh visited the hotel to review the security arrangements on Wednesday.
