New Delhi: The Income Tax Department on Saturday further extended the deadline for filing income tax return (ITR) for the 2019-20 Financial Year to November 30.
The department tweeted that the decision was taken “understanding and keeping in mind the times that we are in” and hoped it will help taxpayers “plan things better”.
On Thursday, the I-T department had also extended the deadline for claiming deductions under tax saving investments/payments for the 2019-20 FY to July 31.
