New Delhi: A worldwide survey conducted by Edelman showed that Indians have the highest level of trust in COVID-19 vaccines, with 80 per cent ready to get vaccinated.
The survey was conducted across 28 countries between October 19 and November 18, with 33,000 respondents. The results revealed that 51 per cent of respondents around the world are ready for the vaccine, while 29 per cent are okay to take it within a year.
One in every 3 people was ready to take the vaccine as soon as possible, the survey pointed out.
Russians were the most hesitant, with only 15 per cent willing to take the jab.
Thirty-three per cent of respondents in the US said they were ready to get vaccinated, while 26 per cent would consider taking it within a year.
