Jharsuguda: IndiGo will start daily direct flights from Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Odisha’s Jharsuguda to Kolkata and Bengaluru from November 5 and November 15, respectively.
The Jharsuguda airport authorities shared the schedule of the new airline being introduced on these routes on its official X handle.
Advance booking of tickets for the flights commenced on Thursday with fares starting at ₹3,499.
IndiGo also made an official announcement about its 84th domestic station.
This comes amid reports that Alliance Air may stop operations to Bhubaneswar and Kolkata from Jharsuguda from October 29 due to a fall in flight occupancy.
