New Delhi: Delhi Police Special Cell has busted interstate drug cartel with the arrest of two persons from Odisha, who used supply narcotic substances in National Capital Region (NCR).
The bulk suppliers have been identified as Dasharathiti Khara and Gopi Jala. They were nabbed following the arrest of their gang members, the IANS reported on Sunday.
“Both the accused were wanted in a case involving recovery of 116.950 kg ganja from three accused – Priyank Ghandhi, Shatrughan Kumar and Sunil Kumar – in their Swift car in Jyoti Nagar in April,” DCP, North East, Joy Tirkey was quoted as saying.
Those arrested earlier revealed the source of their bulk suppliers, who were hiding Koraput in Odisha “During examination, it surfaced that Dasharathiti Khara is a habitual criminal and was previously arrested with 650 kg ganja by the Ghaziabad Police. Further efforts are on to apprehend their associates at the earliest,” he added.
