Malkangiri: A hardcore absconding interstate drug trafficker was nabbed during a joint operation by Special Task Force (STF) and Malkangiri Police.
The arrested drug trafficker is Munsi Prasad Singh of Awadhnagar in Bishunpur in Gopalganja district of Bihar.
Singh was wanted in a case registered at Mathili police station in March 2021. In 2021, Mathili police had seized around 884 kg ganja, two Mahindra Bolero pickup vehicles and other incriminating materials during patrolling. Two persons were arrested.
During interrogation, the accused revealed that they were transporting ganja on the direction of Singh, who was absconding ever since.
