Cuttack: A large number of women on Monday blocked a ‘Subhadra Sachetanata Rath’ in Odisha’s Cuttack district alleging lack of communication from the authorities’ end about movement of the awareness vehicle.

On spotting the Subhadra Sachetanata Rath they resorted to a protest and blocked the vehicle today morning at the panchayat office.

The official said a fruitful discussion was held and the matter will be settled soon.

Ahead of the launch of Subhadra Yojana on September 17, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday flagged off

a Subhadra Sachetanata Rath to create awareness among beneficiaries of the scheme.

Majhi said the special chariots will go to every nook and corner of the state and inform people about the scheme.
