Bhubaneswar: Odia shooter Shriyanka Sadangi has bagged bronze in the 50m Rifle 3 position mixed team event with partner Akhil Sheoran at the ongoing ISSF Shooting World Cup 2022 at Cairo in Egypt.
The Sambalpur-born Shriyanka is an experienced shooter, having bagged 3 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals in different international events, including Asian Senior Airgun Shooting Championship and Asian Shooting Championship.
The 27-year-old shooter was honoured with the Ekalabya Puraskar, the most prestigious sports award of Odisha.
At ISSF Shooting World Cup 2022, Shriyanka will also be paticipating in the 50m Rifle 3 position Women’s Individual event, along with S Kaur Samra.
