Bhubaneswar: Two more corona positive cases were detected in Jajpur on Friday, taking the affected tally in the state to 147.
With this, the number of positive cases in Jajpur has gone up to 38. The district now has 37 active cases with one patient having recovered from the disease, according to Health Department website.
In a tweet, the I & PR Department identified them as a 55-year-old man of Birajapur and a 75-year-old woman of Katikata area. They are contact of Kolkata returnees, it added.
As many as 14 COVID-19 cases were detected in the district on Thursday. All these cases were also linked to West Bengal.
