Reliance JioFiber will be launched commercially on September 5. The high-speed fiber broadband service will have plans starting at Rs 700 per month and speed ranging from 100Mbps to 1Gbps.
The free preview offer is expected to be available for two months, according to media reports. Jio will charge the joining fee of Rs 2,500 for the connection, out of which Rs 1,000 will be installation charges and Rs 1,500 will be security deposit. There will be no monthly charges for the 1st 2 months.
At the Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries on August 12, it was revealed that Jio will be offering 4K/HD TV and 4K Set-top box along with the fiber internet connection.
