Bhubaneswar: Teams from across the country arrived in the city on Tuesday to participate in the 40th Junior Kho Kho National Championship 2021 to start from Wednesday.
The championship will start with opening ceremony at Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, KIIT Deemed University, here at 3 pm on Wednesday. It is scheduled to be attended by chairman of Odisha Hockey Promotion Council Dilip Tirkey, secretary, Sports and Youth Services Department R Vineel Krishna and secretary general, Kho Kho Federation of India MS Tyagi.
Total 78 teams with 39 each from boys and girls will participate in the tournament. The final match will be played on September 26.
