Keonjhar’s Corona Tally Touches 278, Know Details Of 32 New Cases

Keonjhar: As many as 32 new corona positive cases were detected in Keonjhar in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally in the district to 278 on Friday.

Of the 32 cases, seven are local contacts while one is a corona warrior. Another 22 positive cases are reported from Temporary Medical Centres (TMCs) and two from home quarantine.


Among the seven local cases, six are from Barbil municipality area. They are the contacts of an earlier positive case while one local case is under treatment at a COVID hospital in Bhubaneswar.

The 22 positive cases in TMCs are from Keonjhar Sadar block, Telkoi block, Saharpada block, Hatadihi block, Harichandanpur block, Ghasipura block, Patna block, and Champua block.

With 145 recoveries, Keonjhar district has 133 active cases at present.
