Bhubaneswar: Founder of KIIT & KISS Achyuta Samanta on Wednesday announced jobs and free education to the family members of the triple train crash victims from Odisha.
“We can’t reduce the sorrow of the family members of those who died in the train accident, but we will try our level best to support them. One member of the family of the deceased will be recruited in the KIIT or KISS group of institutions as per eligibility,” he told a presser.
He further said that free education will be provided to the children who lost their parents in the train accident at KIIT or KISS University based on their merit from standard one up to higher level. “We will inform them how to apply for the job as well as free education,” he added.
The horrific train accident, involving Coromandel Express, SMVP-Howrah Superfast Express and a goods train, at Bahanaga in Balasore district on June 2 claimed at least 288 lives, including 39 from Odisha.
