Bhubaneswar: KISS emerged champions in both the boys’ and girls’ events of the 8th All Odisha Sub-Junior Inter-District U-14 Touch Rugby 7s Championship.
KISS boys’ team edged out Jajpur 15-10 and the girls overcame Mayurbhanj 20-0 in the respective finals at Bholagadia Mini Stadium in Mayurbhanj on Sunday.
KISS defeated Ganjam 25-5 and Jajpur saw off Mayurbhanj 10-5 in the boys’ semifinals.
In the girls’ semis, KISS and Mayurbhanj got the better of Kandhamal and Keonjhar 15-0 and 5-0, respectively.
Ganjam and Keonjhar finished third among boys and girls, respectively.
