Bhopal: Weightlifters added to Odisha’s medal haul at the Khelo India Youth Games on Monday.
Odisha Weightlifting HPC trainee Jyoshna Sabar claimed silver in the 40 kg category event by lifting a total of 118 kg.
Priteesmita Bhoi also got on the podium with Jyoshna, finishing third to bag bronze in the same category.
Odisha are now placed fifth with a total of 22 medals, comprising 9 gold, 5 silver and 8 bronze.
Maharashtra are on top with 83 medals (28G, 30S, 25B), followed by Haryana (23G, 18S, 15B), hosts Madhya Pradesh (23G, 13S, 19B) and Rajasthan (11G, 7S, 10B).
