The stylish opener has auctioned his cricket gear to raise funds for underprivileged children.

In collaboration with Bharat Army – Team India’s No. 1 global supporter group – Rahul put his Test, ODI and T20 jerseys, bats, pads and helmets into the auction. The response was amazing.

The 28-year-old Bengaluru cricketer’s bat received Rs 2,64,228; ODI and T20 jersey fetched Rs 1,32,774, Rs 1,13,240 and Rs 1,04,824, respectively; his helmet was sold for Rs 1,22,677 and other cricket gear was picked up for Rs 33,028.

The total money raised was a whopping Rs 7,99,553.
