Mumbai: In the wake of Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death, filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap alleged that Salman Khan and his family — including Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Salim Khan — had sabotaged his career post his debut film ‘Dabangg’.
Miffed with the accusations, actor-cum producer Arbaaz Khan is set to take legal action against Kashyap.
Salman’s father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, stated that he doesn’t want to waste time by reacting to Kashyap’s accusations.
Salim told Bombay Times, “Ji haan, humne hi sab kharab kiya hai na. Aap pehle jaake unki filmey dekhiye phir hum baat karte hai.”
“Unhone mera naam daala hai na unki statement mein. Unhe shayad mere pitaji ka naam nahi pata. Unka naam hai Rashid Khan. Unhe hamaare dadaon aur pardadaon ke naam bhi daalne dijiye,” added the veteran scriptwriter.
Kashyap took to Facebook on Tuesday to share how the Khan family ruined his career.
He also stated that he experienced “gaslighting, exploitation and bullying” while working with the Khans and all this affected his mental health.
“I have been repeatedly threatened with life and rape threats given to/for the female members of my family. The sustained gaslighting and bullying destroyed my mental health and that of my family and led to my divorce and breaking up of my family in 2017,” alleged Abhinav.
