Bhubaneswar: School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Das on Saturday said the date for reopening of schools in Odisha will be announced soon.
Earlier in the day, the government in its Unlock 6.0 guidelines had allowed for schools to reopen for classes IX to XII from November 16.

“We are prepared for reopening of schools. The department secretary has been asked to hold discussion with all stakeholders regarding SOP,” he added.
Senior officials made it clear that under no circumstances the safety of students will be compromised in view of the pandemic situation.
