Konark: Showcasing the best of India’s classical dance forms, the five-day Konark Dance festival will at the open air auditorium here with the Sun Temple as the backdrop, at 6.30 on Friday with an Odissi performance by Jyotsnarani Sahoo and group from Cuttack.
Well-known Odissi danseuse and guru Kumkum Mohanty will perform on the concluding day of the festival.
While Odissi will be featured on all the five days, the festival will also see Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Sattriya, Mohiniattam and Kathak performances. The 13th edition of International Sand Art Festival will be held alongside at Chandrabhaga beach.
