New Delhi: Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh will be flying to Kuwait urgently to assist Indians affected by a major fire in a building in Mangaf.
The decision to send the MoS to Kuwait has been taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) informed.
“PM Modi has called us for a meeting and after which I will leave for Kuwait as early as possible… Immediate action will be taken,” Singh said.
At least 41 people, mostly Indians, were charred to death and about 50 injured in a deadly early morning blaze in a building where workers of a particular company were staying.
