  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
  • Postal/ Sorting Assistants
  • Data Entry Operator (DEO)

And if you want to work in the court, then you should give priority to the job profile of Court Clerk.

  1. 2. Places of Work– Under job profile of SSC CHSL, you can get to work in a different location from a rural area to suburban and urban to metropolitan. If you want to get posted in a capital city or in an urban area, then you should choose the job profile of Court Clerk. The job profile of Postal Assistant can give you rural area to a departmental office in the city.

  1. Skill Set– This is directly linked with your interests. If you have a particular skill set, then it will become easy for you to perform the job responsibilities linked to that job profile. You should know the skill set and then prioritise the posts accordingly.

  1. Chances of Qualification– This is a very important factor to consider before choosing the job profile under SSC CHSL. To grab the opportunity to work in various job profiles, you need to clear the various phases of the exam. If there is tough competition for one post, you can divert your focus to other posts. For instance, competition for the post of Data Entry Operator remains higher as compared to other posts.

  1. Salary– It is one of the most important factors while prioritising job profiles. Different posts in SSC CHSL exam offer a different salary. You should make a proper analysis of the amount in hand, grade pay, incentives and perks.
