Bhubaneswar: As many as 26 students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) have received offer letters for lectureship through the State Selection Board (SSB).
Dr Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and KISS, congratulated the successful students and felicitated them during a courtesy call at KISS campus on Saturday.
Expressing his happiness over the success of KISS alumni, Dr Samanta added that such results are possible due to the quality of education and training at KISS University.
The 26 students, including many from Primitive Tribal Groups (PTGs), will teach at various Autonomous colleges of Odisha in subjects like Odia, history, commerce, education, economics, philosophy and mathematics.
Hundreds of students from KISS University have been getting employment opportunities in the government and private sectors every year. This year, too, KISS alumni got placements as doctors, engineers, civil judges, Odisha Administrative Service officers, forest rangers, bank officers and police personnel.
