Keonjhar: A 40-year-old man, who was left in the sun after his hands and legs were tied allegedly by his father, reportedly died after being exposed to intense heat wave conditions.
The incident took place at Sanamasinabila village in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Sumant Nayak, son of Panua Nayak.
According to reports, Sumant had created a ruckus in the house, first thrashing his wife and later picking up an argument with his father.
Angry over his son’s behaviour, Panua allegedly tied his hands and legs and left him in the sun at around 2 pm. Exposed to extreme heat, Sumant died.
Police are investigating the case.
