Surat: Konark Suryas Odisha are now eyeing their second win in the Legends League Cricket 2024.

After a hard-fought win in the first match on Friday at Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur, they reached Surat to play their next match on September 27.

In the upcoming tie, they will again face Manipal Tigers, which is scheduled at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium here. Interestingly, it will also be Manipal Tiger’s second match of the tournament in the ongoing season. While the opponent team will look to open their account, Konark Suryas Odisha (KSO) will aim to secure two more points with their second win.

Batting failure in match 1

Although it was stated that the pitch was slow due to which Konark Suryas Odisha couldn’t add much runs on the board, they will surely make it a point to improve their performance with the bat. With power-hitters like Yusuf Pathan and Ross Taylor in the side, the team looks well-balanced at the moment which is led by Irfan Pathan.

Team Combination

Mostly the team with a positive start in any tournament maintains their playing XI in the next match. When we talk about Legends League Cricket (LLC), it’s all about retired players. The management will mostly look to keep their players injury free and less burdened. Fans in Odisha might also witness Natraj Behera playing his first match in the contest. Even though there is no official confirmation about inclusion of the former flamboyant batter from Odisha, there is a possibility that he might get a look in.
