Legends League Cricket: We Will Go All Out To Win, Says Konark Suryas Odisha Skipper Irfan Pathan

Jodhpur: Skipper Irfan Pathan is excited about the prospects of Konark Suryas Odisha in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) which gets underway here on Friday.

The former Team India allrounder said the players will give their best to bring a smile on Odisha cricket fans’ faces.

“People in Odisha are very passionate about sports and cricket, they are all eagerly looking forward to Konark Suryas performing in LLC. We will look to give our best to take this team forward in the tournament,” Irfan said ahead of Konark Suryas’ maiden encounter against Harbhajan Singh-led Manipal Tigers at Jodhpur’s Barkatullah Stadium on Friday evening.

“We had good practice sessions over the last two days. Everyone is a professional cricketer, so they know how to do their job well,” said a confident Irfan.

Looking forward to the opener, Irfan said the team is looking forward to play the defending champions.

“They have a good squad. We also have Ross Taylor, who is one of the legends. We also have Fidel Edwards, another very good overseas player in the squad,” Irfan said.

All is set for a cracking contest between Konark Suryas Odisha and Manipal Tigers to kick off another edition of LLC.
