Konark: The light and sound show at the Sun Temple in Odisha’s Konark is set to resume from Wednesday by strictly following the Covid-19 protocols.
As per the Sun Temple authorities, two shows of 40 minutes each will be held in a day. While the first show will start at 6.30 pm the second show will begin at 7.30 pm.
To ensure social distancing as per the COVID-19 norms, arrangements have been made for only 200 seats in each each show.
As it was closed for nine months due to coronavirus, the repair works needed for resuming the show like checking of projectors, battery, chairs and headphones were started earlier this month.
The show can be watched in three languages- Odia, Hindi and English and the entry ticket per show has been fixed at Rs 50 per person.
Meanwhile, the concerned temple authorities have made elaborate arrangements to ensure social distancing among the visitors are maintained. Besides, thermal screening will be done at the entry points and masks have been made mandatory for the tourists.
