Bhubaneswar: The third ‘Make in Odisha’ Conclave will be organised in Bhubaneswar from November 30 to December 4 next year, said Industries minister Dibya Shankar Mishra on Saturday.
Briefing newsmen here, he said Odisha has become one of the major investment destination states in the country. Under the deft leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the state government had organised this conclave twice in 2016 and 2018 in which major industries from the country had participated.
“In the first Conclave, there was a footfall of about 12,000 companies which went up to about 50,000 in the second edition. As the state government has got enough time for the third edition, the preparation began from today with a formal inauguration by the Chief Minister. We are quite hopeful that after the third conclave, Odisha will become the leading state in the country for investment by providing a perfect environment to the industrialists,” the minister pointed out.
