Bhubaneswar: Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa had netizens in splits with an interesting post on social media, carrying chat between Blinkit customer and an executive.
On Valentine’s Day, a Blinkit customer made an unusual request. He asked a delivery executive to take him to his girlfriend as her parents were not letting her to step out of the house. The screenshot of the chat between the man, named Manoj, and Blinkit support staff was shared by Dhindsa on twitter.
“Can I be your delivery partner for this order,” Manoj wrote.
Sharing the post, the Blinkit CEO wrote, “India is clearly not for beginners”
The post has amassed more than one million views on X. While some sympathised with the man and requested Blinkit to fulfill his request, others labelled it “scripted”.
A netizen wrote: “Mujhe lg rha hain admin pure single hain. You should allow him guys @letsblinkit. Another wrote: “Scripted, He can cancel and reorder in his girlfriend’s address. No need to be delivery agent.”
