Rayagada: The Maoists put up banners and posters at Parasali village under Kalyansinghpur block in Rayagada district on Thursday, opposing arrest of intellectuals, lawyers, journalists and social activists who raise voice against exploitation of common man.
These allegedly released by CPI (Maoist) Odisha State Committee were found Dangaria market complex and anganwadi centre.
Notably, Maoists’ posters with the signature of BDN Divisional Committee of CPI (Maoist) were found at Bhursikhuma and Rajuluguda villages under Muniguda police limits on Tuesday.
A couple of weeks back, Maoist posters, expressing anger towards central and state government, had surfaced at various locations in Parsali village under Kalyansighpur block of Rayagada district.
The Red rebels have appealed to the people to understand and respect the true meaning of independence and freedom and not get swayed away by the government’s false assurances.
They urged the people to follow Maoist leaders, who have been fighting for their interest.
