Kandhamal: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) busted a Maoist camp at Radhahatitedu under Kotgarh police limits of Kandhamal district on Sunday.
During a combing operation, the eighth battalion of the CRPF came across a camp in the area and seized several articles including detonators, gelatin sticks and tiffin bombs.
However, there was no trace of Red rebels in the area.
The combing operation in Kandhamal has been intensified following the seizure.
Meanwhile, Maoist posters and banners, urging people to boycott the upcoming polls, were found at Kandibandha on the Baliguda-Daringbadi road in the district the same day.
The banners and posters, issued in the name of the so-called Baghuna divisional committee of the CPI (Maoist), warned politicians against campaigning in the district.
On being informed, the police reached the spot and seized the posters. Similar banners were earlier found at Sukungia Chhak under Baliguda police limits of the district.
