Malkangiri: The Maoists have called upon the tribals of Malkangiri district to imbibe the ideology of Karl Marx.
Sources said through banners found hanging on trees and walls at Tinikonia Chhak in Chitrakonda, the Kalimela Regional Committee of CPI (Maoist) has urged the tribals to inculcate the ideology of Karl Marx which would help them solve their problems.
The outlawed outfit is observing the 200th birth anniversary of Karl Marx.
Notably, these banners were found in Doraguda, Nuaguda and Papululu panchayats in the district on May 5.
