New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki has launched a limited edition of its popular tall-boy hatchback WagonR, with two optional accessories kits. The kits come at a special price of Rs 15,490 and Rs 25,490.
The WagonR Limited Edition gets a few feature upgrades such as double-DIN bluetooth music system with speakers and reverse parking sensors. On the cosmetic front, the car gets new seat covers, wood inserts, cushion set, rear spoiler and graphics on the body.
“WagonR customers have always valued substance and style; with this limited edition we intend to make this festive season even more wonderful for them. With its tall boy design, driving comfort, spacious interiors, and fuel efficiency, WagonR has always been amongst the top selling models for Maruti Suzuki. We are sure this new limited edition will bring in freshness to the product and excite the customers across India,” said Senior Executive Director (M&S), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, R S Kalsi.
Mechanically, the car remains the same. It is powered by a 998 cc, three-cylinder 68 bhp petrol engine. It is available in CNG and automatic AMT variants too.
The WagonR has been one of the top 5 selling cars in the country, averaging around 14k units per month. Maruti even claims that about 24 per cent of WagonR customers have bought the car more than once.
An all-new model of the car is expected early next year.
