Bhubaneswar: The results of the annual Matriculation examinations will be announced in the second week of May, Board of Secondary Education (BSE) president Jahanara Begum informed on Wednesday.
“The evaluation of Matric answer sheets has been completed. However, the evaluation process was affected due to non-cooperation by the block grant teachers. The board is putting all efforts in place to ensure that the results are error-free”, Begun said.
A total of 5, 90, 393 students had appeared the examinations conducted between February 23 and March 8 in 2, 818 centres, BSE sources stated.
More than 13, 285 teachers were engaged by the BSE for the evaluation of answer sheets that began in 57 centres across Odisha on March 20.
