Bhubaneswar: Odisha likely to experience a gradual fall in the day temperature by 3-5°C after three days amid yellow warning of thunderstorm with lightning and rain forecast, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre informed on Friday.
The night temperature is also likely to fall by 2-3°C at many places in the state after 4 days, according to the midday bulletin.
The weather agency has also forecast gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Khurda, and Nayagarh, and heavy rainfall in Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, and Angul districts on March 19.
While there is no warning thereafter, light to moderate rain/thundershowers may occur at some places in the state, including the coastal districts, the MeT office added.
