Malkangiri: People rushed out in panic after an earthquake jolted Odisha’s Malkangiri district on Saturday morning.
The quake measuring 4.2 on the Ritcher scale was felt at Nayakguda and Korukonda in the district around 11 am
The tremor, which lasted for two seconds, was also felt in Sukma district in neighbouring Chhattisgarh.
Officials said the tremor’s epicentre was in the south-west of Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh.
